Wow n woo the most common words that came out from my mouth all the way to Cameron Highland hihi =p Alhamdulillah dpt jugak proceed with this exciting family vacation. Sangat seronok n sangat bersyukur sbb dpt jugak my beloved one big family berkumpul sama2...tapi sayang the only hero in da house, Iqmal n family paksu xdpt ikut...xpelah...insyaAllah lain kali...

Bertolak pada 14 Mac pukul 9 pagi, stopped at Gua Musang first, konvoi 3 buah kete...hmm... baru perasan tiga-tiga kete proton...Perdana, Waja n Iswara...hari tu bleh plak xperasan ngeh ngeh =p Kat Gua Musang singgah umah Ayahchik dulu...makan2...rehat2...n then after zohor baru gerak ke Cameron...kul 4 lebih baru sampai...

Eventhough it took hours to reach there, you wouldn’t feel it cause your eyes being mesmerized by the breathtaking views along the journey (tapi still t’tido jugak.. penat kot hehe)...hmm wish I could take that wild orchid home...so beautiful, so tough standing there n kind of so hard to reach for it... I wish, I wish...

First stop adalah dekat...hmm...lupe plak nama kedai tu...nice shop...ade jual makanan, pokok bunga, cactus, souvenirs, guinea pig pun ade 2 ekor sunggo comel tapi rasanye bukan tuk dijual... sempat beli le eskrim cornetto strawberry cheesecake... sunggo kurang sedap...baik le pilih perisa chocolate or vanilla...bukankah itu perisa fav kamu Akmal, why, why pilih strawberry plak? Bowiiing~ n terasa nk cuba yg lain plak...oh ye sile include tiramisu, my new fav...a’ha mao beli kek tiramisu kat Secret Recipe lah nnt hehe...sile jangan!!! You’ve gain weight you know!!! OMG but, but...ala sekali ni aje... I will exercise then...oh really? Are u sure? Yeah I will start a new mission of diet yeah...erk ape yang aku merepek neh...wokeh sambung blek cite Cameron Highland kita...

On the way, kete Perdana abah buat hal...carburettor panas ke hape...xpaham sgt lah psl kete neh...nasib baik bleh teruskan...dah sampai Cameron bleh plak sesat nak cari apartment yg Ayahchik booked hihi...cantik whoa nama apartment tuh...Puncak Arabella...mmg kt puncak ah..tinggii..kene naik bukit...of course laa ngn kete haha...asal xletak nama Puncak Kasih...ooh bukan akak Ziana yg punya ngeh ngeh...ehem...~puncak kasih kita rendangnya oh seketika~bagai cerita satu mimpi episod cinta~terpaksa aku redha~walaupun dalam nyata~kau merisik tanya~tidak kupercaya~ excuse me!!!

Lepas setel angkat barang, cop katil (kene tido luar daa...aiseh), lepak jap, kitorang pi laa kuar jalan2...kat pasar... tepi jalan...hoho macam2 ada...paling banyak stroberi laa...ade jual sarung tangan, stoking tebal, serkup kepala almaklumla tmpat sejuk walaupun da xbape sejuk cam dulu...naseb baik xbeli sweater yg ade fur kt hood...gune yg ade shining beads pun cukup...sweater tu......hmm.....

Keesokan harinya hehe...kitorang pegi le menengok2 ladang teh... tempat wajib pegi bile anda datang Cameron Highland...tapi anda perlu melalui jalan yg sangat berliku untuk sampai ke sana...naseb baik tak t’mun___...hehe...ladang teh tu very the...hijaauu maa...sangat fresh...curam laa ladang teh tu...xdpt nk turun bawah...dpt turun bawah ckit je...alang2 da kat ladang teh ape lagi minum teh laa kan...order le masala tea and green tea, very the...nutritious...tp teh tarik jugak yg sodap keh keh... ditambah plak ngn blueberry cheesecake n tuna sandwich...sunggo lazat n menyelerakan dan sunggo mahal... baik lee cheesecake yg kat Secret Recipe tu lagi sedap...Secret Recipe lagi =p

Next stop was Flower and Cactus Farm... mama mmg suka pokok bunga so die beli 4 pokok bunga...ntah cane le pokok2 tu... bertabah lah wahai pokok anda akan mengalami perubahan cuaca ketara yg amat bile anda berada dirumahku...huhu...cantik sangat!!! Bunga2 kat sane mmg sangat amat cantik...macam2 warna...they made my eyes fill with colours like a rainbow...rainbow? erk...

Then kitorang pegi plak kt pasar sayur...sayur2 kat sane mmg murah...abah beli jagung manis n ubi madu, mama plak pilih capsicum, mushroom n asparagus, saya pilih purple cabbage n broccoli hehe... yang lain?diorang lambat sampai...parking prob maklumlaa ramai giler orang...pelancong lagi...happening lah tempat tuh walaupun ujan renyai2...redah aje hehe...igt nk beli baju n muffler tapi xde yg berkenan...muffler? hmm......hmm lagi aku neh...kenapa?

Pastu singgah laa plak kt kedai jual madu nih...big boss yg nk tengok so apa lagi ikut ler...best dpt rasa madu free...biasala free sample for customer...siap ade sarang lebah dalam almari kaca lagi...tokei tu bagi rasa madu fresh dari sarang lebah yg baru dia ambil lagi hoho...sedap2...abah ape lagi beli laa..2 botol...murah je...lagipun baik tuk kesihatan...Al-Quran pun ada mention psl madu dalam surah "An-Nahl" (lebah) ayat 68-69 yang bermaksud :

Dari perut lebah itu keluar minuman (madu) yang
bermacam-macam warna. Di dalamnya terdapat ubat

yang boleh menyembuhkan bagi manusia.

Sesungguhnya yang demikian itu, benar-benar

terdapat tanda (kebesaran Tuhan) bagi orang-orang yang memikirkannya.

Finally, cuba teka last stop kitorang katne? Katne? Tentulaa hand-pick strawberry farm hehe... name je hand-pick tapi kene guna gunting daa... seronok upenya dpt petik buah strawberry neh...keliling farm nak cari buah yg besar2 n dark red naseb baek xpening...pas petik makanlaa pe lagi... mmg manislah tmbh2 yg dark red strawberry...perghh...cam lagi sedap plak makan strawberry kat tempat tu drpd makan kt umah...hand-pick strawberry very the new experience for me N I C E =)

Pas enjoy kt strawberry farm kitorang terus je balik Kelantan...hari pun da petang...stay umah Ayahchik for one night esok tu baru blek umahku syurgaku hihi...satu percutian yg sangat2 fun walaupun hanya dpt blow certain miseries away...especially the work...it’s really nice not to think about work for a while...enjoy n relax with the family in such a beautiful place...so heavenly... very exciting... look forward for another family vacation...insyaAllah...

That’s it... end of my Cameron Highland story. We will certainly come again cause there’s a lot of interesting place that we haven’t visited yet like Butterfly Garden, Rose Centre, Cactus Valley, Timetunnel, Lakehouse, waterfalls…hmm...banyak jugak tempat xsempat pegi aiseyh...

A bit on history of Cameron Highland -> Cameron Highlands was discovered in 1885 by English surveyor William Cameron, who was under a commission by the colonial government. Forging a path through dense vegetation, he reached a magnificent and sublime plateau ‘shut up in the mountains' along the vast Titiwangsa Range. Yet, the place lay unperturbed for 40 years, until British Administrator Sir George Maxwell took charge of its development as a hill station. Soon, hotels, schools, homes and even a golf course sprouted overnight, as British and locals settled in. Farmers and tea planters also streamed steadily into the valley, having found its soil to be fertile, and weather encouraging for crops.

Today, Cameron Highlands is the leading highland resort destination in the country, supporting a local population close to 50,000 people (mostly Chinese) spread over eight interconnecting areas. Far from rural, the main townships of Tanah Rata and Brinchang are highly developed with a wide range of facilities and services. Hotels, resorts, apartments and shopping blocks tower over the landscape, providing accommodation and leisure activities for its many visitors. Ringlet, Tringkap, Bertam Valley, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja make up the rest of Cameron Highlands. These smaller towns and villages concentrate heavily on agricultural activities, consequently retaining most, if not some, of their pastoral feel and countryside atmosphere. Traces of Cameron's colonial history still remain, but consist mostly of European stone mansions that have been converted into boutique hotels.
